Nigeria, Student of Nanchang University

來自尼日利亞的尼可，目前是南昌大學臨床醫學的一名學生。在江西學習生活四年的她，對贛劇產生了濃厚興趣。

Nkemek-nti Umoren, from Nigeria, is a student in clinical medicine at Nanchang University. Having been studying and living in Jiangxi for four years, she has showed a keen interest in Gan opera.

“我很喜歡中國的傳統戲劇，尤其是贛劇。”課業之余，尼可總愛跟著專業老師學習贛劇。在老師的推薦下，尼可在校園活動中表演贛劇。通過國際留學生們的演繹，國家級非物質文化遺產之一的贛劇展現出別樣的生機活力。

' I am really fond of Chinese traditional operas, especially Gan Opera. ' In spare time, she always likes to learn Gan Opera from professional teachers. With the recommendation of her teacher, she performed Gan Opera in school activities. Through the performance of international students, Gan Opera, one of the national-level intangible cultural heritage, is demonstrating its new vitality.

贛劇是歷史悠久、遺產豐富的贛鄱文化瑰寶，贛劇高腔包括中國戲曲史上聞名遐邇的弋陽腔和青陽腔。“似這般都付與斷井頹垣……”采訪中，尼可向大家展示了自己的學習成果，并談到喜歡贛劇的音樂旋律和高音。

Gan Opera is a cultural treasure of Jiangxi province with a long history. The Gaoqiang of Gan Opera includes Yiyang tune and Qingyang tune which is famous in the history of Chinese operas. ' Yet all abandoned to dry wells and crumbling walls...' In the interview, Nkemek-nti showed what she has learned and her love towards the melody and the high notes of Gan Opera.

“贛劇《牡丹亭》經常在滕王閣公演。”尼可表示通過滕王閣能了解許多歷史與文化，“在欣賞建筑的同時，一定要聽聽這穿越時間的‘聲音’。”據史料記載，1599年（明萬歷二十七年），滕王閣新修成時，湯顯祖就在此首次公演《牡丹亭》。

' The Peony Pavilion is often performed at the the Pavilion of Prince Teng. ' Nkemek-nti said that with the help of the Pavilion of Prince Teng, we could learn a lot of history and culture. While appreciating the architecture, we could listen to the“ voice” through time. According to historical records, in 1599 ( the 27th year of Wanli in Ming Dynasty) , when the Pavilion was newly built, Tang Xianzu made the premiere of the Peony Pavilion here.
